The “SISTER CITIES: DISCOVERING COMMON THREADS” Short Documentary Film routed by Duda Penteado and also produced by Unshakeable Productions discovers the creative procedure of 30 Jersey City high – institution and university students from The (JCSYMAP) Jersey City Summer Youth Mural Arts Program 2021 that developed a 100ft. by 30ft. long MURAL situated at James J. Ferris High School.

The Jersey City Summer Youth Mural Arts Program is a hands-on, extensive muralist workshop for young artists led by fine artist and filmmaker Duda Penteado fine musician and muralist Catherine Hart, both from Jersey City. Thirty students ages 13 to 25 participated in 2021’s six-week program, picked from a pool of over 100 applicants. The pupil artists mounted a 100-foot by 30-foot mural at James J. Ferris High School (35 Colgate St., Jersey City), motivated by the 22 sibling cities throughout 19 countries with whom Jersey City has a sister city connection.
