Reactions have been mixed to the $973 million spending plan lately authorized by Jersey City’s college board. Performing Superintendent Norma Fernandez states the money will certainly assist fix a number of concerns, including significant repairs to school facilities. The budget, up $159 million from last year, comes as the city is expected to lose even more than $68 million in K-12 state help.
